Denver, CO – Whether this is news worthy or merely a misinterpretation of what Carmelo Anthony says remains to be seen. Mitch Lawrence e of the Daily News is reporting that Melo has no idea what is wrong with his knee. In a column in the newspaper, Melo says, “Nobody can really give me an exact answer.” That is never a good sign for an athlete to have that much of a concern for an injury that fans may not have deemed that serious at the outset.
The most disheartening things for Knicks fans to even fathom, is why Melo was perhaps even playing in the game at all if that was the case. Again, I reflect on my previous story about the game last night questioning why mike Woodson had the franchise on the court with an ailing knee in the third quarter down by 27 on the road. I honestly think that someone slipped a mickey in Mike Woodson’s Gatorade or the Just for men he uses on his goatee is laced with Ecstasy. If there was no communication with team doctors and the head coach abbot Melo’s condition, I will tell you again; someone will be getting fired by season’s end.
