New York, NY- Rumors have swirled as we reported yesterday about the possibility of Kevin Kolb coming into the New York Jets quarterback fold.
As the sun rises on the last day of the work week, the Jets are said to be interested in West Virginia draftee Geno Smith, who had a stellar pro day. There is also word that the Jets are entertaining the idea of signing running back Mike Goodson from the Oakland Raiders according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.
The bad news for the Jets is that their rivals, the New England Patriots have been busy at work, already signing Danny Amendola, looking to add John Abraham, the former Jet, and possibly Dwight Freeney.
In New York Giants land, John Mara is very adamant about trying to keep Victor Cruz, but told the Newark Star Ledger that he has no clu as to what Cruz is going to do. Adam Schfter is reporting that the Giants have scheduled a visity with Former Oakland Raider and Carolina Panther wide receiver, Louis Murphy. The Giants have also confirmed that they have signed former Pittsburgh Steeler Safety Ryan Mundy.
