New York, NY- Word on the street is that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are slowly becoming disinterested in New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis. In league circles the talk is that the Jets want a first round pick for the All Pro corner. The problem is that the Buccaneers are not willing to part with this year’s first round pick, rather next year’s is more suffice for them.
If the Bucs decide to move on they will look to Atlanta Falcons cornerback Brent Grimes. The jets need to really play their cards carefully as they can get nothing for Revis if they wait too long. There may not be another team who would be willing to sacrifice a first rounder and fork over the type of money that Revis is said to want. The Bucs salary cap situation makes them the most viable suitor.
The New York Giants are going to be receiving a compensatory pick at number 253 in the seventh round. This comes part of the NFL rule that a team can be rewarded a pick based on their net-free agent losses in a given offseason.

The Miami Dolphins and Dallas Cowboys will be playing in the annual Hall of Fame game. Another worthless preseason game if you ask me.
